In 1850s Kashmir, the Mir family began creating what would eventually be an iconic handmade carpets gallery. Their empire started with exquisite handmade pashmina shawls and needlework, with over six generations taking turns evolving the business into the hallmark it is today.
Before settling in Singapore, Mr Abid Hussain Mir journeyed across America and Europe to find the perfect location for his family’s carpet house. When he made his way to Singapore, the small city became a natural choice for his family’s legacy to continue. Kashmir Carpet House was established to introduce the local market to his collection of rare and refined antique carpets.
Following the inception of Kashmir Carpet House, Lotto Carpets Gallery was born in 1986 as a subsidiary enterprise that has risen with the help of his two sons. Brothers Imran and Noman spent their entire lives being woven into their family’s legacy – they understand the business of creating beautiful artwork for tasteful homes, and continue to be a driving force in the gallery today.
Lotto Carpets Gallery is continuing to create bold, beautiful artwork for homes around the world – and in the process, following their family’s heritage and giving back to the society that has built their brand. They are actively engaged with charitable organizations all over the world. Paying this iconic gallery in the heart of Dempsey Hill a visit will be an experience to truly revel in. There’s something for every visitor to enjoy at Lotto Carpets Gallery.
