NORMAL WASH
Here we wash the carpet with carpet shampoos & soaps. The carpet is first washed with shampoos then rinsed with water and the same process is repeated for 2-3 times till all the dust is removed. Following this carpet is dried in bright sunlight. Normal/ chemical wash is recommended for carpets which have less damage in terms of any spots or stains and are of less value compared to superfine carpets or Persian carpets.

HERBAL WASH
Here the carpets are first soaked in herbs overnight or for 1 day depending on the condition of the carpet. Mostly old and antique carpets are washed with herbs from the old ages. These herbs & soap nuts are useful in retaining the original colors of the carpet along with removing all the worms or bacteria inside the carpet due to their herbal properties. After soaking the carpet, its then washed & rinsed with water many times to remove all the dust. Following which carpets are dried in bright sunlight. This process is repeated 3 times to bring your carpet to its original shape. With herbal wash all sorts of stains and odor of the carpet can be removed unless there is some exceptional damage. An herb wash is highly recommended for Persian carpets, old and antique carpets or silk carpets as they have very delicate materials.
